About the Challenge
🏃♀️ Challenge: Run 5K every single day
📅 Date: Ongoing throughout 2026
We are delighted to share that supporter Dinah McLannahan is running 5 kilometres every single day to raise money for The UK Charity for TNBC.
So far, Dinah has kept going through five heatwaves, three holidays, a busy job and everything else life has thrown her way, with every run completed outdoors, whatever the weather.
Dinah also takes a photograph each day and records every run on Strava, documenting the challenge one 5K at a time.
Dinah’s Story
This is not the first time Dinah has set herself this challenge. In 2022, she ran 5K every day for the year. Four years later, she decided to take it on again – but this time, she wanted all those kilometres to help make a difference.
Dinah chose to support The UK Charity for TNBC after being moved by the story of Charlotte Vitty, who she knows through work and who has shared her experience of triple negative breast cancer as part of our TNBC & Me series.
Dinah explains:
“I happened to see Charlotte’s video, which was so moving. Breast cancer is becoming so common, and I was inspired by her.”
Having decided to fundraise alongside the challenge, Dinah also wanted to support a smaller charity where her contribution could help raise awareness of TNBC and support work specifically for people affected by the disease.
Support Dinah’s Fundraising
We are incredibly grateful to Dinah for choosing to support The UK Charity for TNBC.
Every early morning, busy working day, holiday run, heatwave and rainy 5K is helping us continue our work to make triple negative breast cancer seen, heard and understood.
You can support Dinah and help make every kilometre count by donating to her JustGiving page below.
Thank you, Dinah! We’re all cheering you on.
