What is the UK Charity for TNBC?
We are a new charity, registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales (reg no. 1192952) dedicated to helping people with TNBC in the UK by providing them with better information and support, and by funding research into TNBC.
The UK Charity for TNBC was created by a family in memory of a dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother who lived with and then sadly died from, TNBC.
They understand only too well what the experience can be like and want to pass on knowledge and information to help people with the same diagnosis.
The idea of a charity for people with TNBC is based on the highly successful TNBC Foundation in the USA, which was established in 2007, and has put TNBC ‘on the map’. We plan to follow their example in the UK, whilst continuing to work cooperatively with, but independently from, the TNBC Foundation. Why have a charity for TNBC?
There are excellent cancer, and breast cancer, charities in the UK, without which many new treatments currently available for people with breast cancer would not exist. However, they have a wide range of cancers and breast cancers to cover, as well as every aspect from prevention to aftercare. We believe that TNBC is different from other forms of breast cancer and that people with TNBC deserve specific advice, support and new treatments.

How Can I Help Research into Triple Negative Breast Cancer?
A donation to the UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer will allow us to support women with TNBC and invest in the excellent UK scientific centres that are doing much needed and ground breaking work into TNBC.
