About the event
📅 Date: Friday 26th - Sunday 28th of June 2026
📍 Location: Cadair Idris, Snowdon and Pen y Fan, Wales
🏃 Challenge: Three Welsh Peaks Challenge - hiking three peaks in three days
We are delighted to share that Olga Pell and her colleagues from an NHS Vascular Team will be taking on the Three Welsh Peaks Challenge in support of The UK Charity for TNBC. Across three days, the team will climb Cadair Idris, Snowdon and Pen y Fan, taking on one peak each day to raise funds and awareness in support of their colleague Emily and others affected by triple-negative breast cancer.
Olga and the Team’s Story
Olga and her colleagues are taking on this challenge in support of their amazing colleague and friend, Emily, who was diagnosed with TNBC just before Christmas last year.
Since then, Emily has faced countless hospital appointments, scans, treatments and chemotherapy sessions, while also coming to terms with the loss of her hair and the many challenges that cancer brings.
Throughout it all, Olga and the team say Emily has shown remarkable strength, resilience and courage every step of the way. Rather than letting her diagnosis define her, Emily has faced it head-on with determination and positivity, inspiring everyone around her.
They write:
“It is therefore a privilege for us to take on the Three Welsh Peaks Challenge in support of Emily and all those affected by TNBC. Through this challenge, we hope to raise awareness, celebrate the incredible strength of those living with this disease and support the vital work being carried out to improve outcomes for people diagnosed with TNBC.”
Support Olga and the Team’s Fundraising
We are incredibly grateful to Olga and her colleagues for choosing to support The UK Charity for TNBC and for helping us continue our work for people affected TNBC.
The team has already passed its original £3,000 fundraising target, including donations raised through a successful recent cake sale at work.
